Brentwood’s Tempo homes rekindle the Great Australian Dream

While national house prices increased nearly 20% over the last five years, household incomes rose by just 9.2%*, putting the attainability of home ownership in question for a growing number of Australians.
But as the ‘Great Australian Dream’ creeps further away for many, AVID Property Group’s Brentwood Forest is offering the youthful Greater Springfield population an opportunity to enter the housing market with a product that suits their needs – the Tempo homes.
AVID Property Group General Manager Queensland Bruce Harper said Brentwood Forest’s Tempo homes offer an affordable yet stylish entry point for first home buyers on the property ladder.
“Lots of young buyers struggle to get into the housing market, and they’re often forced into older ‘fixer-uppers’ that suit their budget but not their tastes,” said Mr Harper.
“The Tempo range offers first home buyers the chance to step into a brand new home, without the hassle of complicated builds or renovations.”
Recent census data showed the median age in Ipswich is just 32, much lower than the national median of 37.
“Greater Springfield’s young, growing population needs housing that really reflects their lifestyle, and the sort of quality, sophisticated design that young people have come to expect in a home,” Mr Harper said.
“The Tempo homes really suit people who are looking for an easy to maintain home without the hassle of lots of yard maintenance.
“They are a great entry point into the housing market, without buyers having to compromise on design or location.”
AVID’s highly anticipated Tempo display homes are now open at Brentwood Forest, giving prospective buyers the chance to explore the homes’ unique features.
“While people are increasingly looking to technology to initially explore property options, the opportunity to ‘touch and feel’ home products will always be critical to buyers,” Mr Harper said.
“Our Tempo homes are a unique product, and people need to see the homes first-hand to appreciate just how innovative the designs are.
“Our display homes give buyers the chance to immerse themselves in the unique Brentwood Forest environment, surrounded by native bushland, and experience our vibrant community.”
Tempo buyer David Lowe said the homes were an affordable, freehold option.
“Brentwood Forest ticked a lot of boxes for me, the location is great and the houses were really affordable,” Mr Lowe said.
Turn-key house and land packages in the Tempo range are available from $301,597 (T&Cs apply) on lots that are levelled and retained in an established community, close to a vast range of amenities including Springfield Central railway station, Orion Shopping Centre and Brookwater Golf Club.
