Bloomdale Family Fun Day and Park Opening

March 29, 2018 | IN Media Release and News | BY Holly Brennan | 1 min read

Bloomdale held its new Village Park Opening and Family Fun Day on Sunday 18 March for Bloomdale residents and the wider community.
The event provided an opportunity for residents and the community to meet their neighbours, meet members of the Bloomdale project team and the Mayor of Melton City Council.

We had 255 people RSVP to the event, unfortunately on the day the weather was not playing along and we had to contend with gale force winds which meant that we didn’t get the crowd we were expecting. However, approximately 100 people still attended, and enjoyed AVID’s hospitality, including a sausage sizzle from the local Lions Club of Diggers Rest, fairy floss and popcorn, face painting and balloons for the kids and the local cricket & footy clubs were there hosting sports clinics too.
