Families flourish at The Meadows

NATIONAL developer Villa World is quickly approaching the sell-out of stage three at its $200 million The Meadows, as the quaint riverside community resonates with first home buyers.

Following strong sales and the success of stage one late last year, which totaled 61 homes, The Meadows has continuously fast tracked construction, with the fourth stage down to just 14 lots on the market.

The Meadows has secured 137 lot sales since its launch 18 months ago which Villa World Development Director Queensland Peter Johnson is attributing to the family-friendly aspect of the community.

Mr Johnson said the address has appealed to families and first home buyers of all backgrounds.

“The Meadows’ parklands which includes a playground, walking track, exercise stations and community gardens has been a real drawcard for young families, where they are able to exercise, socialise and relax,” Mr Johnson said.

“Our residents feel comfortable knowing their neighbours have also bought at The Meadows for its sense of community and family-oriented focus.”

Mr Johnson said The Meadows is one of Villa World’s Active8 communities, complete with a 2km cycle loop, sit-up benches, push-up bars and a range of interactive exercise stations.

“Villa World’s Active8 communities promote active and healthy living, encouraging residents to get out and about and take advantage of the stunning nature that surrounds them,” he said.

Marvin and Crislayn Tenio and their two daughters moved from Sydney into their four-bedroom home at The Meadows after realising their budget would not get them far in their hunt for their first family home in Sydney.

“Our family did a weekend trip to inspect homes around Brisbane, but nothing came close to the product and value we were getting at The Meadows,” Ms Tenio said.

“We managed to stick to our budget, getting a brand-new family home that we love, and we were also entitled to the First Home Owners Grant, which was a real bonus.

Ms Tenio said her family are regulars to the playground, watching the sunset while their girls play.

“There are three train stations nearby, and a bus stop right by the The Meadows’ entrance. Marvin’s office is only 15 minutes away, I catch the train to the city which only takes about 35 minutes and our youngest daughter’s school is just three minutes down the road,” she said.

“We’re looking forward to trying the barbecue in the park, and using the herbs in the community gardens to cook with.

“We’ve felt a real sense of peace, belonging and community at The Meadows, and it’s a lovely place to raise a family,” Ms Tenio said.

The Meadows feature a collection of contemporary architecturally designed homes created for the modern family. Three and four-bedroom homes are finished with traditional brick and rendered features, in a range of interior and exterior colour scheme options.

All homes are complete with stone benchtops, stainless steel kitchen appliances and the option for a multi-purpose living space.

The Meadows will comprise 393 homes upon completion, ranging from 350 sqm to 608 sqm, starting at $399,000.

Residents of The Meadows have convenient access to the M1, the M3 and the $1.2 billion Moreton Bay Rail Link, connecting them to employment, infrastructure and leisure facilities of both Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.

The region is also benefitting from a surge of infrastructure spending with $100 million Petrie Campus of the University of the Sunshine Coast to open next year and Strathpine train station to get a $15 million upgrade.

The newly opened Madison Terrace display homes are open at Meadows Boulevard, off Grahams Road, Strathpine, from 10am to 5pm daily.
