Get home style tips from Caro and Kingi

NEW home buyers seeking inspiration can pick the brains of renovation wizards Caro and Kingi, of The Block fame, at Villa World’s Waterline display village on Saturday November 12.

The contestant couple from the 2015 television series will be on hand to discuss design and decoration ideas with prospective buyers at Waterline, Thornlands on Brisbane’s bayside.

Waterline development manager Peter Johnson said moving into a new home gave buyers a blank canvas to work with.

“New homes are designed with contemporary and neutral tones throughout, so home owners can easily overlay their own styles,” he said.

“But starting fresh can for some be a daunting experience, so we’ve brought in Caro and Kingi to give handy tips about how to add personal touches to a new home.

“They will help buyers identify the most cost effective ways to design and decorate, which areas and rooms to focus on, how to pick the right feature pieces and how to create a timeless design.”

Down to earth Queenslanders Caro and Kingi shot to fame after being ranked as the highest scoring couple in The Block’s 11 series history.

Caro and Kingi will tour Waterline’s 23-home display village – one of the biggest in Queensland – when they visit the community on November 12 from 10am to 1pm.

Premium bayside blocks, ranging in size from 350sqm to 597sqm, are currently selling at Waterline from $318,000.

Almost 100 blocks have been sold at Waterline since January and upon completion the estate will be home to about 230 families.

Located on Cleveland-Redland Bay Road just two kilometres from Moreton Bay, the development is close to a range of public and private schools, shopping centres, recreational facilities and medical services.

Waterline is located at 288 Cleveland-Redland Bay Road, Thornlands.
