New Luxury Showcase Homes Arrive on Fraser Coast

On Saturday 1 February Fraser Coast locals experienced the very best of resort-style living at Vantage Hervey Bay by AVID Property Group’s (AVID) Showcase Homes Grand Opening.
To mark the grand opening, AVID was joined by Fraser Coast Mayor Cr George Seymour for an official ribbon cutting ceremony at the site of the new showcase homes in the over 50’s land lease community.
AVID General Manager Land Lease Communities Manuel Lang said the opening marked a significant milestone for the project – the first for the developer in the region – and signalled the upcoming completion of the first move-in-ready homes in the community.
“Construction at our new community in Hervey Bay is progressing at a rapid pace, with our first residents expected to move in March 2025,” Mr Lang said.
“We have some exceptional home designs arriving to the community that will complement the lifestyle our future residents are seeking – living in a secure, impeccably designed community with likeminded people.”
“Hervey Bay’s beautiful coastal location is the perfect fit for the Vantage offering, including no stamp duty, resort style amenities in a gated neighbourhood and strong neighbourly ties, offering over 50’s a vibrant and connected community living option.”
All homes in Vantage Hervey Bay have been designed and will be built by the developer’s award-winning in-house builder, Villaworld Homes by AVID.
AVID General Manager Housing Peter Wood said the new homes were a testament to the quality, designs and inclusions customers know to be true when building with Villaworld Homes.
“These showcase homes, as well as every future home in the community, have been specially designed to match the existing Fraser Coast landscape and desires of over 50’s buyers in the area,” Mr Wood said.
“The Apex 22 showcase home is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom design and the Panorama 24 is the largest home offering in Vantage Hervey Bay with two large bedrooms, a multipurpose room, separate study and a large yard, providing buyers a glimpse of the premium inclusions available.
“Our three remaining display homes are well progressed, set to open in May 2025, with additional features including a plunge pool or additional garage space to store a recreational vehicle or boat, all tailored to specific sites and home designs.”
Attendees enjoyed several information sessions about the Vantage turnkey home offering, future community amenities and the benefits of land lease living and attended a series of guided homes tours.
Set to offer a fresh, clever approach to homeownership for over 50s, the 300-home land lease community will welcome its first residents in early 2025 and feature a range of resort-style amenities including a private community clubhouse, pool, gym, tennis and pickleball courts, bowling green and yoga lawn.
