AVID Property Group’s development at Palmview, dubbed ‘Harmony’, is in the crosshairs of future homeowners and investors with AVID fielding more than 300 inquiries for the development set to house 12,000 residents in more than 4800 homes.

The first, 40-lot stage has been released to the market with land sizes ranging from 250 sq m to 500 sq m.

Those lots were fast-tracked as a result of demand through the sheer volume of inquiries since September last year, AVID’s Queensland general manager Bruce Harper said.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row unlock_row=”” row_height_percent=”0″ override_padding=”yes” h_padding=”2″ top_padding=”0″ bottom_padding=”0″ overlay_alpha=”100″ equal_height=”yes” gutter_size=”3″ shift_y=”0″ row_height_use_pixel=””][vc_column column_width_use_pixel=”yes” overlay_alpha=”50″ gutter_size=”3″ medium_width=”0″ shift_x=”0″ shift_y=”0″ zoom_width=”0″ zoom_height=”0″ width=”1/2″][vc_single_image media=”50625″ media_lightbox=”yes” media_width_use_pixel=”yes” alignment=”center” media_title_uppercase=”” media_width_pixel=”800″][vc_single_image media=”50669″ media_lightbox=”yes” media_width_use_pixel=”yes” alignment=”center” media_title_uppercase=”” media_width_pixel=”800″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image media=”50626″ media_lightbox=”yes” media_width_use_pixel=”yes” alignment=”center” media_title_uppercase=”” media_width_pixel=”800″][vc_single_image media=”50628″ media_lightbox=”yes” media_width_use_pixel=”yes” alignment=”center” media_title_uppercase=”” media_width_pixel=”800″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row row_height_percent=”0″ override_padding=”yes” h_padding=”2″ top_padding=”3″ bottom_padding=”3″ overlay_alpha=”100″ gutter_size=”3″ shift_y=”0″ row_height_use_pixel=””][vc_column column_width_use_pixel=”yes” overlay_alpha=”50″ gutter_size=”3″ medium_width=”0″ shift_x=”0″ shift_y=”0″ zoom_width=”0″ zoom_height=”0″ column_width_pixel=”800″][vc_column_text]”We knew the Sunshine Coast was in need of new land and home options, what we didn’t expect is the significant response we’ve had to date,” Mr Harper said.

“Since the release of Harmony’s house and land packages in November 2016, our builders have been incredibly busy with buyers wanting to be the first to purchase at Harmony, with flow on enquiries from those wanting to purchase land.

Lots will start at $209,350 in the first stage.

The new development will include a 15,000 sq m town centre and 100ha of open space, as well as a linear parkway.

It’s set to open to the public later this year, with work on the connecting road to Sippy Downs halfway to completion.

“With Harmony’s main road, Peter Crosby Way, now 50% complete, the new community is right on track for its official opening to the public later this year,” Mr Harper said.

The new development’s house and land packages were released to the public in November last year.

The 10-15 year development has signalled a boon for a number of local builders brought in on the project as official building partners.

More than 20 builders have been confirmed as building partners, a mix of local and major builders.

The construction at Palmview won’t stop with Harmony, with a further 3000 homes to be built on adjoining land, housing another 5000 residents.
