Hillstowe opens doors in Officer

AVID Property Group’s (AVID) $68 million Hillstowe community has officially launched in the Melbourne property market, with a tech savvy onsite Sales and Information Centre.

The intimate 225 lot community is situated in the sought-after suburb of Officer with easy access to the Officer train station and connectivity to the Princes Highway and Freeway networks.

The opening of the purpose-built Sales and Information Centre accompanies Hillstowe’s first land release including 30 lots of various typology. The initial release was well received by the Melbourne market – only 17 lots remain ranging in size from 400m2 to 522m2, competitively priced from $353,000 to $399,000.

The Sales and Information Centre defies the conventional design of traditional sales offices, to provide a warm and comfortable environment filled with immersive technological experiences that add layers to the home ownership journey.

AVID Property Group General Manager Victoria, Peter Vlitas said the Sales and Information Centre was designed to generate community spirit and promote connectedness.

“We have designed the centre to create a positive experience for visitors by removing the ‘hard sell’ and replacing it with a stylish technology-rich environment that invites buyer interaction,” Mr Vlitas said.

Two large format touch screens provide development information to prospective homebuyers in real time including, house and land packages, land availability, pricing, and drone footage of the Hillstowe development, Officer and surrounding rural countryside.

“Customers are able to immerse themselves in the touch-screen technology at Hillstowe to navigate the variety of blocks and house and land packages on offer in real time,” said Mr Vlitas.

The Sales and Information Centre has been designed to reflect the Hillstowe lifestyle. Clad with spotted gum timber, the exterior of the building is framed by native plant and tree species and herbs to enhance the sensory experience.

“It was important to AVID that the design reflected connected modern living, encapsulating the unique natural environment and character of Officer,” he said.

The next-generation centre serves as a touch point for home buyers, a practical source of development information and an attractive visual amenity designed to reflect the Hillstowe community.

“The Sales and Information Centre features a photo wall which reflects the regions past and present to give potential purchasers a glimpse of what it’s like to live here,” said Mr Vlitas.

“We are excited to watch the community come to life and look forward to welcoming our first residents to Hillstowe in 2020.”

Hillstowe’s Sales and Information Centre is open 5 days a week from Sunday – Wednesday 10am to 5pm with friendly staff members on site to help guide prospective home owners on their property journey. The centre is located at 415 Princes Highway , Officer.
