AVID Property Group (AVID) and its Harmony community in Palmview is excited to announce its continued partnership with the two-time premiership winning Sunshine Coast Lightning for 2019.

Athletes from the premiership-winning netball team will join Lightning CEO Danielle Smith, AVID General Manager Queensland Bruce Harper and AVID Development Manager Queensland Anthony Demiris on Friday 12 April at Harmony to officially launch the continued partnership.

AVID Property Group General Manager Queensland Bruce Harper said AVID was excited to put its support behind the reigning premiership winning team.

“Here at AVID, we know how important local sporting clubs are in bringing people together – the Sunshine Coast Lightning has shown us how a team can build the spirit of a community and from that comes true success,” Mr Harper said.

“The team had another incredible season last year, recording their second consecutive premiership in front of almost 14,000 fans, and at AVID we want to continue to be part of the Lightning story.”

Sunshine Coast Lightning CEO Danielle Smith said “we are thrilled to have AVID on board for a third season.

AVID Property has been with the club since day one, and it’s the support of tremendous partners like this that make our success on court possible. The Harmony development is just around the corner from our home at USC Stadium and we can’t wait to see the stadium full of locals as we unveil our redeveloped venue in May.”

A short media event will be held at Harmony followed by an opportunity to obtain interviews/footage or photos of AVID Property Group General Manager Queensland Bruce Harper, Sunshine Coast Lightning CEO Danielle Smith and Lightning player and Harmony resident Laura Scherian.
