LISTED developer Villa World has launched its first house-and-land community in Melbourne with the unveiling of Lavinia at Greenvale.
With homes selling from $379,500, strong early enquiry has paved the way for construction of the first stage of homes within the 131 home estate to start next month (May).
Lavinia will introduce a new model of home building to the “world’s most livable city” with the delivery of a ‘complete address’ – offering buyers ready to occupy homes on a one deposit, one contract, one final payment promise.
Villa World state manager Victoria Chris Betts said the company was successfully delivering land-only projects across Melbourne, including Cascades at Clyde North and Cardinia Views at Pakenham, but Lavinia would be the first of its kind for Melbourne.
“Villa World aims to simplify the home building process so buyers can move in to a completed, ready to live in home with a fixed-price contract,” Mr Betts said.
“It’s a model that Villa World has successfully implemented across its Queensland and New South Wales projects and is now introducing to its Victorian portfolio.”
Mr Betts said Lavinia’s blue-chip location, just 27kms north of Melbourne’s CBD, made it a desirable option for families.
“We will deliver a range of three, four- and five-bedroom homes fulfilling the needs of modern families and their lifestyles,” he said.
“Residents will be within easy reach of shopping centres, schools, parks, Tullamarine Airport and the CBD.

Lavinia will include a range of single and double storey homes finished in a variety of timber, brick, cladding and rendered facades.
Each home at Lavinia will feature 2.57m high ceilings and timber flooring or tiles, as well as premium inclusions such as stone bench tops and designer kitchen appliances.
Villa World is also constructing three display homes as part of the first stage build.
