The couple is the first Villa World customers to win a $5,000 helloworld holiday voucher, part of $30,000 in holidays being offered by the company to celebrate its 30 years in business.
The Assedjians purchased a four-bedroom, two-bathroom home at Parkside in February after almost a year of house hunting
Mrs Assedjian said the couple had always taken an interest in the Coomera area but believed it to be too expensive.
“We’d been searching for months to buy in Coomera and never thought we could afford the home we wanted there,” she said.
“Our home is completely open plan with a decent backyard and patio, with high ceilings and walk-in wardrobes.
“We love the serenity and being amongst the bushland, and we feel this will be a great place to raise a family.”
After hosting a party with their friends and new neighbours to warm their new home, the Assedjians plan to travel the South Pacific later this year.
“Five thousand dollars is a huge amount of money towards a holiday and we’ve never really won anything before,” Mrs Assedjian said.
“After buying a new home, the idea of going on a holiday was put on the backburner, so it was a nice surprise.”
As part of Villa World’s 30 year celebrations, Villa World will give away a further $25,000 in helloworld holiday vouchers to purchasers between now and the end of the year.
Homes in Parkside’s current release are priced from $462000 on blocks ranging in size from 400 to 567sqm.
