Redland Bay proving gold for Villa World
October 31, 2017 | IN Media Release and News | BY AVID | 3 min read
NATIONAL developer Villa World’s enthusiasm for the flourishing Redland Bay region has borne fruit with four of its five residential projects in the area now sold out.
Complete take-up of the Affinity, Ellabay, Era and Waterline developments means Villa World has sold more than 600 lots in the region since first breaking ground in late 2014.
The Queensland-based developer’s focus in the Redlands now turns to its latest project in the area, Seascape at Redland Bay, which offers designer homes just a short walk from Moreton Bay and a transformative marina development.
“The great potential we saw earlier in the Redland Bay area is being realised,” Villa World development manager Peter Johnson said.
“It has all the qualities we were looking for; a sought-after lifestyle, proximity to the city and a good supply of land available for residential development.
“Buyers have continually responded enthusiastically to the product we have delivered here, and this has prompted us to continue bringing new developments to the market.”
Mr Johnson said the beauty of having several projects in the popular area was the array of lifestyle options it had gave Villa World home buyers.
He said sales in the Affinity and Waterline projects at Thornlands had gained momentum following the earlier sell-out of both Era and Ellabay.
“Waterline was very popular with downsizers from the area looking for a high-quality option close to Moreton Bay,” he said.
“At Affinity, the dominant demographic was young families from the surrounding area looking for land in a sought-after location.
“We also found there was a sense of urgency from buyers looking at these two projects after Era and Ellabay had sold out.”
Era, a 200-lot project at Capalaba, was launched in September 2014, while Ellabay, which comprised 84 lots at Redland Bay, was launched a year later.
In Thornlands, Waterline is home to about 230 families while Affinity has 118 residential lots.
Villa World’s newest Redlands venture, Seascape, comprises 99 stylish low-maintenance townhomes reflecting the character of a coastal village and priced from $435,000.
Seascape is just 650m from the 42ha Weinam Creek marina development, which is poised to become the cultural and economic heart of Redland Bay, with a 400-berth marina, shops, restaurants, cafes and open space.
Villa World expects Seascape’s designer homes, resort-style atmosphere and low maintenance to appeal strongly to retirees and empty nesters.
