Seabright poised for sellout status

NATIONAL developer Villa World is closing in on a sellout of its 107-lot Seabright community at bayside Jacobs Well after an overwhelming response from buyers for its final stage.
Launched to the market just over a year ago, Seabright – located in the Gold Coast’s rapidly growing northern corridor – has been among the listed developer’s fastest selling communities.
A strong sales run in the third stage prompted the developer to fast-track the release of the final stage at Seabright, comprising 21 lots. Early registrations of interest have already been received from a range of buyers including first-home owners and investors.
Villa World development manager Peter Johnson said the level of inquiry in recent weeks has lifted the pace of demand for the remaining lots at Seabright to such an extent that he expects it could be completely sold out by the end of August.
“Following a recent marketing campaign we’ve had a remarkable rate of inquiry from buyers who had never been out to Jacobs Well before,” Mr Johnson said.
“We’re stunned at how quickly the final stage of this project has gained traction with the market.”
Downsizers Ken and Christine Hillier are among the early takers at Seabright after swapping their acreage property near Rosemount Farm at Belivah, just west of Beenleigh, for what they consider their forever-home at Seabright.
The couple was drawn to the quiet, coastal lifestyle of the new waterside community and are looking forward to their new life at ‘The Well’.
“After driving through the area a little while ago we fell in love with the region,” Mrs Hillier said.
“Jacobs Well has a small town feel, and a comforting sense of slower times.”
Mrs Hillier owns her own business and takes the short commutes to work in Beenleigh, while her husband Ken is retired and enjoying the coastal seaside vibe at their new home.
“The location is just so pleasant and beautiful. You feel as though you’re so far away from everything but we’re still so central with the motorway just a short drive from home and the shops a stone’s throw away.
“Ken and I are enjoying our walks to the waterside and are looking forward to landscaping our garden.”
Mr Johnson said the boutique community had appealed to a mix of mainly first home buyers and investors keen to secure a quality home in the tranquil, yet strategically located, seaside village.
“The strong demand we’ve experienced saw us bring forward our third and fourth stages of Seabright, which were also enthusiastically received,” Mr Johnson said.
“Our buyers love that they can enjoy a tranquil village lifestyle on Moreton Bay while being close to major transport infrastructure and employment hubs.”
Seabright is just a short walk to the village amenities at Jacobs Well, including the popular boat ramp and swimming enclosure, and it is just 10km from Ormeau Train Station.
Priced from $455,000, Seabright’s three-and four-bedroom homes feature open-plan living spaces connecting with a covered patio, a designer kitchen with stone benches and stainless steel appliances, premium fixtures, a double lock-up garage and Colorbond roofing.
Some homes also feature a multi-purpose family room, ideal as a media room or extra living area.
The onsite display home, located in Helmore Road, is open daily from 10:00am until 5:00pm.
