WORK has started on the Redlands’ biggest display home village at Villa World’s Waterline community in Thornlands.
The Waterline display village will feature home designs from various nationally recognised and local builders to give prospective buyers an insight into the vast housing options in the 177-lot estate.
Eleven builders are constructing displays, including major companies Metricon Homes, Plantation Homes and Clarendon Homes.
Others include Allied Builders, Burbank, Impact Homes, Simonds Homes, Australasian, Bella Homes, Taylah’d Homes and Munro Projects.
Villa World development manager Peter Johnson said the raft of acclaimed builders were keen to stake their claim at Waterline.
“Ultimately, this is the most desirable land in Redland Bay and until now there have been very limited opportunities to build a dream home east of Cleveland Redland Bay Road,” he said. “Now this opportunity has presented itself, builders have been swift in securing a space to build contemporary homes befitting this unique and sought-after location.”
Plantation Homes will bring its designs to the Redlands for the first time when it constructs a display at Waterline. Plantation Homes state sales manager Brad Collins said the home was designed specifically to reflect bayside living.
“The large and liveable home boasts multiple living spaces as well as Plantation Homes’ luxury inclusions, including timber stacker doors to the large entertaining alfresco, 900mm stainless steel appliances and Quantum Quartz bench tops throughout,” he said.
Waterline has received strong presales and stage four has been bought to the market head of program to meet demand. Land is now selling from $307,000 with registered lots available, and house and land packages are also available.
It is the first project to be rolled out under the South East Thornlands Structure Plan, which calls for the integration of housing within a regional network of cycle and foot paths, open space regional parklands, facilities and traffic connectivity.
The launch of Waterline brought Villa World’s workbook in the Redlands area to in excess of $500 million, making it the company’s most active area for development.
Additional Villa World projects in the area are Mt Cotton Village and Era in Capalaba.
Established in 1986, Villa World is Queensland’s oldest ASX-listed housing developer and one of Australia’s largest housing providers.
Villa World creates value through a simple philosophy of quality craftsmanship, design innovation and enduring relationships. Today, more than 35,000 Australians call a Villa World address home.
