Young families flocking to Savana drive new early learning centre opening

An influx of new families to Wyndham Vale’s Savana community has driven the opening of a brand- new purpose-designed early learning centre and kindergarten.
The $7 million Funtastic Kidz Early Learning Centre recently opened at the heart of Savana, AVID Property Group’s $129 million residential development.
AVID General Manager Victoria Peter Vlitas said Funtastic Kidz was located adjacent to Savana’s popular community park and playground and within walking distance to all homes in the community.
“Savana recorded a 155% increase on net sales year-on-year, with many young families drawn to its convenient location, affordability and diversity of home and land options, as well as the always-popular community park and playground,” Mr Vlitas said.
“We are thrilled to welcome Funtastic Kidz to the Savana community and provide local families with the option of quality care and learning for our smallest residents right on their doorstep.”
Wyndham’s population has skyrocketed recently with a 4.7 per cent growth between 2019-20201 and 4953 births in 2019, about 95 per week2.
According to Funtastic Kidz centre director Federica Caciotosto, local families will enjoy the flexibility of long day care and kindergarten with options for temporary and occasional care.
“Funtastic Kidz responds to the demand for flexible, curriculum-driven early learning and care for young children in the local Savana community and beyond,” Ms Caciotosto said.
“We offer diverse and holistic learning opportunities, a school readiness program and purpose- designed learning and outdoor play areas to encourage creativity and growth.”
