Capturing the Spirit of Logan Village Links

October 8, 2026 | IN Media Release and News | BY Jason Lewis | 2 min read

Reflections of a community often come from the people who know it best.

At Logan Village Links, that reflection can now be found throughout the Clubhouse, where resident-captured photographs showcase the wildlife and everyday beauty that make the community such a special place to call home.

What started as a project to refresh shared spaces has become a celebration of local talent and natural beauty. When residents were invited to submit photographs for display, the response reflected how connected the community is to its surroundings.

Forty images were contributed, capturing everything from birds and native wildlife to scenic landscapes and views across the local parklands. Residents helped to choose the images that would ultimately be framed and displayed throughout the Clubhouse. The result was a collection shaped entirely by its community.

For resident Shirley Le Marquand, who helped coordinate the initiative, the project highlighted the desire of homeowners to get involved and contribute to something bigger than themselves.

“The photographs show exactly who we are as a community. People were excited to contribute and see the final results. It was something everyone could be part of,” Shirley said.

The finished display shows more than beautiful photography, highlighting a shared appreciation for the environment that surrounds Logan Village Links. The collection also reveals creativity within the community itself.

“People were delighted when the photographs went up. There’s so much talent within our community, and this project gave residents an opportunity to showcase that,” Shirley said.

One of the most meaningful outcomes of the project has been its ability to bring the outdoors inside. While many residents regularly explore the parklands, others may not be able to access every part of the landscape. Through the display, everyone can enjoy the beauty of the environment from the comfort of the Clubhouse.

“Not everyone can get down to the parklands, so these photographs bring that beauty straight to them,” Shirley said.

At Logan Village Links, the photography display has become far more than a decorative feature. Created by residents and inspired by local beauty, it captures the creativity and sense of belonging that define life in the community.

As Shirley puts it, the project demonstrates that “this is your place, and this is about you.”
