Through the delivery of community events such as Long Table Dinners, family and celebration days, as well as the development of our exclusive online video series, residents have the opportunity to engage, learn, share and connect with their neighbours as well as all AVID communities across Australia.

Online Video Series
The AVIDEngage online video series provides our communities with the opportunity to share their insights and knowledge with fellow residents far and wide, by inspiring others to develop new skills and take on new experiences. Viewers can explore tips and tricks, including resident cooking tutorials, expert interior and garden design advice and interviews with AVID’s community engagement officers.
Over just a few years, our AVIDEngage online video community has grown to reach close to 1 million people via social media, e-newsletters and YouTube views.
Community Events
At AVID, we are passionate about delivering communities that bring people together. This commitment is fostered through organising events and unique experiences for our residents and our staff alike, allowing people to come together, interact and celebrate the diversity of our neighbourhoods.
Group fitness classes, neighbour days, seasonal celebrations, gardening workshops and movies in the park, as well as our signature Long Table Dinners, are just some of the community events occurring across the annual calendar.
Dedicated Community Engagement Officer
We know how important it is to feel welcomed into your new community. That’s why our communities have a dedicated Community Engagement Officer who assists new residents coming into their new home by providing the opportunity to meet, engage and connect with their fellow neighbours.
Through managing and facilitating a full calendar of community events and experiences, our Community Engagement Officer ensure all residents have the opportunity to explore their neighbourhood and foster community friendships.
