Egg-Cellent Event Brings Community Together

April 21, 2026 | IN Media Release and News | BY AVID | 2 min read

Locals hopped into Easter celebrations over the weekend with over 100 Illawarra locals
enjoying an afternoon of family friendly fun, sweet treats and an Easter egg scramble.

The Forest Reach by AVID Property Group (AVID) community came together for its very first
community event on 29 March to celebrate Easter, with a special visit from the Dapto Rural
Fire Brigade.

AVID General Manager New South Wales Danny Boubli said the Easter Event was a huge
success, with activations for every member of the family, including a petting zoo, DJ, face
painting, and roaming characters.

“Creating thriving, connected communities is at the heart of AVID, and we are thrilled to have
held the first of many community events in Forest Reach,” Mr Boubli said.

“Since acquiring the community in May 2025, our goal has been to create an environment
where home extends beyond the front door, with neighbours mingling at community events
and in shared spaces.

“The Easter Event was a triumph with over 100 attendees, and we look forward to helping
residents strengthen these relationships with upcoming events.

“As we introduce more community events to Forest Reach, we’re actively looking for ways to
support the wider community, and I’m thrilled that we were able to welcome the Dapto Rural
Fire Brigade, an organisation so vital in keeping our community safe.”
