A residential community in Chisholm has come together to celebrate Easter with a day of family-
friendly entertainment, connection and 3,500 chocolate eggs last Saturday 28 March.
More than 800 residents and locals came together at the Waterford by AVID Property Group (AVID)
annual Easter event with the Thornton Rural Fire Brigade where attendees enjoyed a petting zoo, live
DJ, kids’ entertainment, giant lawn games, face painting, balloon sculpting and a visit from the Easter
bunny, alongside the much anticipated egg scramble.
AVID General Manager New South Wales Danny Boubli said the stellar turnout reflected the strong
community camaraderie at Waterford.
“Waterford is more than just a place to live, it is a community where people come together and
connect,” Mr Boubli said.
“These events are a chance for locals to connect with neighbours and friends, while also getting
behind important community groups like the Thornton Rural Fire Brigade.”
“It’s fantastic to see such a strong turnout showcasing the community spirit and pride residents have
here at Waterford.”
The annual Easter event is one of many held at Waterford, with a calendar of community initiatives
continuing to strengthen connections among residents.
