Luxury Hub for Over 50s Community Now Open

A growing land lease development in Melbourne’s outer west celebrated a community milestone
earlier this month, marking the official opening of a $13m resort-style clubhouse set to become a hub
for connection and wellbeing for residents of Vantage Bloomdale by AVID Property Group (AVID).
To mark the grand opening, AVID was joined by City of Melton Mayor Lara Carli and Councillor John
Verdon for an official ribbon cutting ceremony before welcoming current residents and more than 200
prospective residents of the over-50s neighbourhood to the launch event.
AVID General Manager Victoria Penny Forrest said the opening marked a significant milestone for the
project – the developer’s first in Victoria – and celebrated the role the Clubhouse will play in promoting
mental and physical wellness within the community for years to come.
“We have been committed to the wellbeing of our residents, and it was fantastic to have residents, our
team, and key members of the community come together to see this come to fruition with the official
opening of the Clubhouse,” Ms Forrest said.
“The Clubhouse will serve as the core of the community, a constant welcoming space for residents to
come to enjoy the finer things in life – whether it’s relaxation, recreation, creativity or entertainment, all
the best of Vantage Bloomdale will be found here.
“As we continue to welcome in new residents the Clubhouse will bring together neighbours to nurture
a feeling of togetherness and belonging, grounding the growing community in one central space
designed with their happiness in mind.”
Throughout the official celebrations guests were able to explore the brand-new Clubhouse amenities
while enjoying fresh breakfast served by visiting chefs, performances from a pianist, artist in residency
and synchronised swimmers, and a cocktail hour to conclude.
“The opening event showcased to prospective residents just how much the Clubhouse will serve as a
hub for connection and recreation on every occasion,” Ms Forrest said.
“Tours of the Clubhouse showed just how extensively it can be used, with the private dining room
styled to showcase a 60th birthday complete with a private chef catering an intimate function, and the
grand dining room bar set with wine coolers and glassware to show off the social hotspot residents
can now enjoy day in and day out.
“Every corner of the Clubhouse was fully equipped and ready for use, right down to the bowling
green, golf simulator and fully furnished gym, to the private cinema display in the theatre showcasing
the immersive surround sound system.”
During the event guests also had the chance to take guided tours of the community’s six tastefully
furnished display homes, which have been purposefully designed to meet the evolving needs of this
buyer demographic as they enter their next chapter.
Guests to the event were also given exclusive early notice of a short-term offer to purchasers of
eligible homes in Stage 1 of the community, who will receive a gift card valued at $20,000 to add
further special touches to their brand-new home.
