RESIDENTIAL land buyers in Pakenham have welcomed Villa World’s Cardinia Views development with open arms by snapping up half the project’s second stage.
It comes after the success of the 300 plus-lot community’s first stage, which is almost 90 per cent sold.
Launched to the market in October last year, Cardinia Views is adjacent to Peet’s award-winning Cardinia Lakes community, boasts picturesque rural views and is within walking distance of the local shopping centre including a Coles supermarket.
Cardinia Views offers family-size blocks ranging from 497sqm to more than 600sqm and priced from $179,000.
Smaller lots of 409sqm are selling from $175,000.
Villa World state manager Victoria Chris Betts said sales activity to date has been driven by large block sizes, the site’s countryside views and proximity to shops, services and community facilities.
“The Pakenham town centre is just 2 kilometres away and it offers medical and public transport services in addition to its retail and commercial outlets,” he said.
“Numerous sporting, recreational and educational facilities are nearby, and there are plans in the pipeline for Cardinia Lakes to have its own primary school.”
Mr Betts said the majority of buyers at Cardinia Views were from the local area.
“They are families upgrading to a new home while staying within their existing community,” he said.
Facilities in the area include a cultural centre, aquatic centre, Pakenham Golf Course and Cardinia Lakes Parklands.
Cardinia Views is located on Superior Waters, just off Windermere Boulevard, Pakenham.
