More than 150 people came out on Saturday 8 December to enjoy AVID Property Group’s (AVID) annual Brentwood Forest Christmas in the Park event at Tucker Family Park, Bellbird Park.
Residents and the wider community enjoyed the magic of Christmas with a screening of seasonal classic, Home Alone, and local school Bellbird Park State Secondary College P&C running the sausage sizzle and popcorn stand.
AVID Property Group General Manager Queensland Bruce Harper said the holiday season was a great opportunity to get together and meet your neighbours.
“Brentwood Forest’s Christmas in the Park has become a signature local event for the whole family – it was great to again see so many people turn out for the evening,” Mr Harper said.
“It was a wonderful time for people to stop for a minute before the silly season takes hold and enjoy a nice night out in their community, and perhaps meet some new friends.
“We were lucky enough to once again have the involvement of the Bellbird Park State Secondary College P&C, who this year will use the money raised for various things in 2019.
“Community events like these really bring people together, and that’s what we’re working hard to do at Brentwood Forest.”
