To help support the Logan region, Covella by AVID Property Group (AVID) is backing locals with the launch of its new 2022 Community Sponsorship and Grants Program.
These sponsorship and grants form part of Covella’s overarching Community Engagement and Events Program which will see vital funds invested back into the region this year.
AVID has proudly supported numerous programs and businesses across its network of residential communities in Australia, however, this is the first of its kind for AVID’s Greenbank community.
AVID General Manager Queensland Bruce Harper said AVID had a proud history of giving back to the communities in which it operated through sponsorship and grants programs like the one launched at Covella.
“The past few years have been challenging for many community groups whose survival is often dependent on donations and funding available through grants programs like ours. These grants not only provide vital financial assistance but also help strengthen community connections which keep these groups thriving,’’ Mr Harper said.
“That’s why AVID is proud to launch this new Community Sponsorship and Grants Program at Covella, which will support deserving local projects in and around the community,” he said.
“In other AVID communities, the program has enabled us to fund a range of worthwhile initiatives, community groups and schools such as Take 3 For The Sea, State Emergency Services (SES), Sunshine Coast Lightning and Chancellor State College.
“I’m privileged to launch Covella’s Community Sponsorship and Grants Program and am excited to see the innovative and impactful projects the Logan community puts forward.”
Applications for Covella’s Community Sponsorship and Grants Program are now open and will close midnight on Friday 30 September 2022. Successful applicants will be announced in October 2022.
The successful grant recipients will be invited to share their winning initiative at a long table dinner hosted by Covella in October.
