Early sales for Bloomdale blocks

Bloomdale by AVID Property Group has this week launched its latest neighbourhood, Flore – fast-tracking the release of 40 new blocks of land in a bid to meet increasing buyer demand.

The north-west Melbourne property market is showing no signs of slowing, with recent data from Corelogic revealing that median house prices in the Melton region rose by almost 32 per cent in the past 12 months .

AVID Property Group General Manager Victoria Peter Vlitas said he had seen demand in the region grow exponentially over the past year as more people looked to build their own homes in well-known property ‘hot spots’.

“Residential property demand is surging in the region and as prices continue to rise in the city, buyers are increasingly looking for affordable land options, particularly in growth hot spots like Diggers Rest,” Mr Vlitas said.

“We have been overwhelmed by enquiry rates at Bloomdale so have made the decision to bring forward the release of our exciting new Flore neighbourhood, along with the first 40 blocks of land.”

Bloomdale’s new Flore neighbourhood will adjoin a three-hectare linear waterway and offer residents an array of active lifestyle options, with more than eight hectares of wetlands, several hiking and bicycle paths, plus its very own neighbourhood park.

“Not only does Bloomdale provide buyers with a diverse range of options to choose from with more than seven different combinations of land sizes, but it also offers residents a community that they can truly feel part of,” Mr Vlitas said.

Future Bloomdale residents Angela and Mitchell purchased a coveted lot in Bloomdale earlier this year and cannot wait to move into their new home by December.

“When purchasing our new home, it was important for us to have a backyard big enough for our furry family members – the size of our block at Bloomdale has allowed this dream to become a reality,” Angela said.

“We were hoping to build our first home somewhere that was affordable and had a friendly community feel – we got this and more at Bloomdale.

“With construction about to start on our home, we are getting pretty excited about moving into the community – the whole neighbourhood has really grown on us and we can’t wait to be a part of it.”
