Savana by AVID Property Group is one step closer to welcoming the first residents into its new community, as the first blocks of land settle and buyers commence construction on their new homes in Wyndham Vale.
There is a hive of activity at Savana and over the next six months construction is set to ramp up as more homeowners start to see their dreams become a reality.
More than 200 buyers, including Asif Agha and his family, have settled on their land and are moving ahead on creating their dream homes.
“There were a few key things we were looking for when my wife and I were choosing a home – we wanted somewhere close to the train, and we wanted a large block for a good price,” Mr Agha said.
“We decided to buy in Savana because Wyndham Vale is a growing suburb – it already has everything we need, and the suburb looks like it’ll keep growing.
“Already we’ve seen the value of the land start appreciating, which is amazing. We can’t wait for the park and the childcare centre to open and the development itself is looking great.”
AVID Property Group Victoria General Manager Peter Vlitas said construction on more than 30 homes had already started and many more were expected to begin construction before Christmas.
“We’ll soon see Savana grow into a thriving community and we can’t wait to welcome our first residents early next year,” Mr Vlitas said.
“We have a number of exciting milestones coming up, with the opening of our sales and information centre in late November and the launch of our new neighbourhood park, which is set to be open early in the new year.”
Mr Agha has purchased a 512m2 block of land and has plans to build a four-bedroom home to accommodate his growing family.
“We decided to build rather than buy because the flexibility appealed to us and I really love the idea of being able to choose what is important to us,” Mr Agha said.
“We wanted a large house with a big backyard – I guess we wanted the best of both worlds when it came to indoor and outdoor living.”
