AVID Property Group’s Harvest development in East Maitland has received top honours in the prestigious Urban Development Institute of Australia NSW Crown Group Awards for Excellence.
AVID won the category for best Marketing – Land Development, announced at a gala ceremony on August 3.
Located east of Maitland in the growth suburb or Chisholm, Harvest is a boutique 50ha, 410-lot master-planned residential development, which hasn’t needed to display a ‘for sale’ sign since Stage 1 launched in 2014.
AVID Property Group Project Director NSW Nathan Huon said it was an honour to receive the award.
“The award is testament to our team’s hard work in making Harvest a unique place to live, differentiating its position within a very competitive market,” Mr Huon said.
“Market research informed all aspects of the development, from urban design preferences, branding, positioning, and AVID’s marketing campaign.
“It was critical to capture the imagination of the target market with something fresh, and our branding reflects everything that is traditional and organic, yet contemporary.
“Harvest really set itself apart from the competition by adopting a highly-creative marketing campaign, promoting the USP of each neighbourhood, with every level of detail ‘on-brand’.
“Success and market acceptance can be measured through the community that has been built at Harvest and our sales success.”
The team continues to achieve, on average, 10 sales per month, and remains well above the region’s average for similar developments, of four sales per month.
