PALMVIEW’S largest master-planned community, Harmony, has fast-tracked the release of its latest land lots to meet demand for affordable land in the sought-after area.
With median land prices in the Sunshine Coast rising by almost 5% from 2015 to 2016, the appetite for affordable land options in the region continues to grow.
AVID Property Group Queensland general manager Bruce Harper said an additional 91 land lots have been released at Harmony.
“Residential property demand is surging in the region and as prices continue to rise, buyers are increasingly looking for affordable land options,” Mr Harper said.
“With new land lots starting from $218,400, the master-planned community is catering to wide range of buyers and delivering affordable land lots in the heart of the Sunshine Coast.
“Its close proximity to established amenities – including the University of the Sunshine Coast, the new Kawana healthcare precinct, shopping precincts at Sippy Downs and Kawana, and the Sunshine Coast University Hospital – make it an attractive option for buyers.”
With the population of the Sunshine Coast projected to grow to almost 453,000 by 2036 (from around 294,000 in 2016), Harmony is set to deliver more than 4800 homes for 12,000 future residents.
“As one of Australia’s premier lifestyle destinations, there’s no wonder buyers are flocking to the area with its pristine beaches and beautiful hinterland right at your doorstep,” Mr Harper said.
“A number of major infrastructure projects currently under way are also contributing to the job growth and economic development in the region.”
Harmony has achieved a significant number of milestones since its official launch last year including becoming the first ‘6 Leaf’ EnviroDevelopment masterplanned community to be certified in South East Queensland by the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA).
