Love at first sight for Harmony’s 1,000th family

This month marks a significant milestone for Palmview’s largest masterplanned community, Harmony by AVID Property Group (AVID), having welcomed the 1,000th family to its Palmview community on the Sunshine Coast.
Jack Webster, Ari Morrison and their two young children are the 1,000th family to call Harmony home, having recently moved into their newly built house in the growing community.
Mr Webster said having previously lived in the area, they knew Palmview was the place they wanted to build and raise their children.
“The idea of building a house really just came out of nowhere; Ari woke up one morning and decided that she wanted to build a house so the next day we went and looked at Harmony,” Mr Webster said.
“The first time we saw the community we fell in love instantly, and we put a deposit down that day. “The location was amazing, but it was the position of the block that sold us. Our street has a sports field on one end and a massive park down the other end.
“The community-feel and its big open spaces are two things that really drew us here. We’ve got two young kids, so they’re able to hang out with other kids and be part of the community that’s right in our backyard.”
For Mr Webster and Ms Morrison, AVID’s dedication to building a connected community for its residents to call home is what made their choice so easy.
“Building a new home is both stressful and exciting, but the Harmony team were there the whole way to support us on our journey and make the process as seamless as possible,” Mr Webster said.
“I’m really happy to see that AVID is continuing to deliver on its community plans; the football fields are not far off from opening, a new park just opened two months ago and we’re also looking forward to the planned Bruce Highway connection.”
AVID General Manager Queensland Bruce Harper said he is excited to see the Harmony community grow with more residents moving in and the increasing buyer demand for land.
“The recent HomeBuilder Grant has boosted buyer confidence and we’ve seen increasing enquiries and sales, with a record number of sales recorded since the grant was announced a month ago,” Mr Harper said.
“Knowing that AVID is dedicated to improving and establishing a well-connected community for our residents is what draws many people to Harmony.
“There’s a lot to love, but the fact that our community has been designed to cater for people and families of all ages is hugely attractive to buyers.
“To be welcoming the 1,000th family into our community is such a significant milestone and we can’t wait to see who else will come to call Harmony home.”
