NEW ERA DAWNS FOR BUYERS
April 17, 2015 | IN Media Release and News | BY AVID | 3 min read
THE FIRST residents have settled at Villa World’s $95 million Era community at Capalaba as the project continues to experience surging sales.
Retirees William Robert and Vuokko Marjatta have relocated to Era from Noosa on the Sunshine Coast.
The couple made the move in order to live closer to their children who also live in Brisbane’s bayside.
Mr Robert said the couple was instantly attracted to the private estate which satisfied their desire for a high quality and centrally located new home.
“Moving from Noosa was a big step for us, so finding a home that was central to shops and amenities was really important,” Mr Robert said.
“We did our research on what was on offer in the area and decided Era would be the perfect fit – we were able to purchase an affordable, modern home without having to compromise on the lifestyle we have become accustomed to.
“We have everything we need within a few minutes’ drive and are very happy having made the move.”
The estate has proven popular with discerning owner occupiers following the sale of 27properties since the unveiling of the project’s second instalment of 37 lots in September.
Villa World senior development manager Murray Simpson said a number of buyers were upsizing from their current homes in the local area.
“A number of our new designs incorporate walk-in pantries and include innovative features such as movable walls to create multi-purpose living spaces,” Mr Simpson said.
“This has enabled us to cater to growing families or those simply looking to upgrade from their current homes and allows key areas of the home to be shaped to suit the needs of the buyer as they evolve.”
Construction of the first tranche of homes in stage two of Era is nearing completion and the first homes settled in December 2014.
Prices for the remaining 10 homes in stage two range from $460,000 to $495,000.
Villa World has commenced house building in stage three, and civil construction works in stage four of Era are also under way.
Era will ultimately comprise a private community of 200 homes just minutes from public and private schools, shopping centres, medical services and sports facilities.
Coolnwynpin Creek Parkland runs through the community which is also bordered by bushland reserve and parkland.
Visit the Era Sales Centre and display home on Springbrook Drive, just off Redland Bay Road, from 10am until 5pm daily.
