Sphere Garden Terraces by AVID Property Group (AVID) has seen a flood of interest from young professionals chasing the convenient and accessible lifestyle these terrace homes offer.

Sitting on the doorstep of two of the Gold Coast’s largest employers – Griffith University and the Gold Coast University Hospital, Gold Coast locals have been eager to get their foot in the door of Sphere Garden Terraces.

Local first homebuyer Josh Young, 21, who works in the nearby Gold Coast Health and Knowledge Precinct recently purchased one of the 74 two-level, three-bedroom and two-and-a-half bathroom terrace homes.

“I noticed Sphere Garden Terraces getting underway near where I currently live and within walking distance from my office in the Gold Coast Health and Knowledge precinct,” Mr Young said.

“I knew I had to jump on the opportunity to purchase my first home at Sphere – the convenience and the location were just too good to pass up.”

Mr Young took advantage of the Federal HomeBuilder Grant combined with the Queensland First Home Owners’ Grant to secure his purchase.

“Combining the two grants absolutely went a long way in allowing me to get my foot in the door to my first home,” Mr Young said.

“Having that additional $40,000 up my sleeve really eased the stress through the application process and will mean significantly less financial strain in the future.

“The HomeBuilder and First Home Owners’ Grants allowed me to get a new home in a really convenient location, and I can now put that money towards furnishing my new place.”

Mr Harper said across all AVID’s communities in Queensland and across Australia, buyers were jumping at the chance to purchase a new home.
