A growing Fraser Coast land lease community is set to celebrate an exciting milestone this  winter, with the opening of Vantage Hervey Bay’s brand new $16.5 million clubhouse coming just in time to offer its normally beach-bound residents a reprieve from the cooler weather. 

Due to be delivered next month, the Clubhouse has been designed to promote resident wellbeing, with the shared use recreation and relaxation amenities set to foster connection between members of the budding resident population. 

AVID CEO Anthony Demiris said the Clubhouse will be the heart of the community, acting as a hub for connection between residents in the colder months. 

“Since we broke ground on the Clubhouse just last year, the Vantage Hervey Bay community has already grown so much – with our 100th home being sold last month,” Mr Demiris said. 

“From a first glance it may seem that the main drawcard for buyers at Vantage Hervey Bay is the postcard worthy scenery that the region is famous for, but really it is investments like the Clubhouse that take the community from being just a summer spot to a year-round first choice for over 50s. 

“With buyers in the community having come from far and wide to start their next chapter in Vantage Hervey Bay, the Clubhouse design has been centred on ensuring that this transition is made easy through the enjoyment of shared lifestyle facilities.” 

From July residents will be able to stay entertained indoors, with amenities like a luxury large screen theatre fitted out with a self-service bar, popcorn machine, and gold class seating. This is complemented by a nearby games room with pool tables and indoor golf simulator. 

The Clubhouse will also include a wellness centre featuring an outdoor lap pool and adjoining spa, outdoor yoga area and community garden. Indoors, residents have access to two saunas, and exercise studio complete with high-spec treadmills, bikes, and weights, together with a workshop and a creative hub with a studio-style set up for arts and craft. 

The Clubhouse’s design includes an array of spaces for residents and their guests to gather together, including a residents’ lounge, a private dining room and resident kitchen, the grand dining room with direct bar access and a completely functional kitchen. 

Following the recent opening of the Clubhouse facilities in Vantage’s Bloomdale community in Outer-West Melbourne, the opening of the Hervey Bay Clubhouse will see completed delivery of resident amenities for both greenfield communities launched by AVID upon announcing its land lease venture in 2024
