Land Lease Neighbourhood Set to Expand Established Diggers Rest Community

A new land lease community is set to be built at Diggers Rest, Victoria, by AVID Property Group (AVID), an award-winning Australian builder-developer with 37 developments located in key growth areas across the nation’s eastern seaboard.
To be called VantageBloomdale, the new community will feature 300 brand-new homes and resort-inspired amenities for over 55s set on nearly 12 hectares adjacent to AVID’s masterplanned community, Bloomdale.
AVID General Manager Land Lease Communities Manuel Lang said the new community would suit Australians looking to own a brand-new, high-quality home in a fully maintained community, creating a truly intergenerational neighbourhood at Bloomdale.
“We see Vantage appealing to the parents or even grandparents of some of our existing Bloomdale residents, particularly those who want a fully complete home solution in a secure environment close to those who mean the most to them,” Mr Lang said.
“A new Sales and Information Centre is now open followed by the development of exclusive new resort-style amenities, like a community clubhouse, pool, spa, sauna, cinema, gym, and tennis and pickleball courts.”
Under the land lease model, Vantage Bloomdale residents will pay a simple weekly site fee to cover management and maintenance of the community, access to all amenities and local council rates.
AVID General Manager Victoria Jason Brettell said it was a pleasure to welcome this next chapter for Bloomdale, AVID’s flagship Victorian community.
“Bloomdale was a very unique project when it first launched in Diggers Rest and we’re excited to bring another fresh approach to this new adjacent neighbourhood,” Mr Brettell said.
“Given the changing population, we see Vantage Bloomdale as a natural extension to the existing masterplanned community; a place where we can bring a new generation to our AVID neighbourhood but not in a secluded environment.
“We are actively planning events and activities for our existing residents and our Vantage residents to come together and create friendships and strong neighbourly connections.”
